Tamed the Monster Prince - Chapter 14.2
His crimson eyes meticulously searched her entire body, and his gaze was so intent that it gave off a glimmering light. As a result, her stomach dropped into her chest.
Even though she wasn’t acting in any inappropriate way, she questioned whether or not she had made the right choice.
Cesar made several attempts before ultimately returning to her hand, which was extended. She needed to make another appeal and secure her position.
“Let’s stop now, okay?”
She observed as the entity looking for her, Cesar, wept. Ultimately, after much convincing, the situation was resolved.

The attendants who had retreated when tugging on the rope returned abruptly. It clung to her as if it would never leave her. Nonetheless, it was time to depart. As a result, he began to persuade her.
“I must change my attire at this time. It should not take much time.”
“Mm.”
He appeared to have considered her words as he released his grip around her waist with a sigh.
The maid who was observing the situation readied the garments.
“Please strive for simplicity.”
From the assortment of dresses in the maid’s possession, she chose the one that featured the slightest and most understated embellishment. It would appear that she went for a style that was a little less flashy.
Irena did an excellent job completing the makeup and accessorizing the outfit. If she had taken more time to finish, Cesar would likely have voiced his dissatisfaction with her performance.
Her hand was hurt, but since it was going to be covered by the skirt, you won’t be able to see the injury. However, Cesar made the scarring worse on her hand.
She needed to keep the fact that she had surgery on her hand the night before a secret. The revelation of this information to other people put me in an awkward position. It would have been inconvenient if there were any rumors spread about it, as it would have disrupted the situation. She looked in the mirror numerous times but could not muster any admiration for her wound. She sighed and then looked at the palm of her hand. Even at the very first glimpse, it was not appealing. It was in such poor condition that it was difficult even to consider it to be the hand of an ordinary woman, let alone the hand of a princess.
“Prepare a glove for me.”
“Would you like me to assist you with putting it on?”
“I want to receive the glove, please.”
She had to be discreet in concealing the wound from view, especially from the Queen. To do so, she donned a short lace glove of a vibrant hue to cover the injury. She was mindful to avoid any chance of it being removed.
“Your Majesty, I shall return shortly.”
“No.”
As is customary, Cesar impeded her departure.
“I can’t help it.”
“No…”
She pondered what action to take as the issue did not appear to be related to a lack of blood.
“Please don’t make the Queen feel troubled.”
The sun was blazing as she drove with other servants efficiently. However, Cesar appeared to be struggling to coordinate his movements, as if he was having difficulty understanding the instructions.
“I shall remain in Your Majesty’s presence until then.”
“Uh…”
A sad look crossed his face, indicating his reluctance to her departure.
“I’ll be back soon.”
Irena reiterated her sentiment before making her way to the royal palace. She informed everyone that it was time for them to leave.
The blistering heat from the sun tore at her skin, and she could feel sweat dripping down her face.
Their significant distance suggested that her palace was located in the most inaccessible part of the vast royal estate. Her weary limbs were the only thing propelling her forward, and the courtiers and attendants who trailed behind her paid no attention to her at all.
“Hoo…”
The sun had risen above the horizon upon her arrival at the palace. It was a place of residence for the highest-ranking female. The castle was distinct from others with its grandeur, crafted with white marble and gold. Crystals embedded in the building reflected the sunlight, emitting a brilliant and beautiful light, creating a regal atmosphere.
“Her Majesty the Queen is here.”
The brown locks of the Empress were tidily gathered in a radiant headpiece that complemented the color of her gown, which was crimson. Her head was adorned with a hairnet made of golden thread and a hat studded with pearls and rubies. The Empress was the only person permitted to wear accessories with a white rose motif, so this pendant was suspended from her necklace.
She inhaled deeply and then made an effort to move forward while keeping her tired legs from giving out under her. Such was not a simple undertaking. The Empress’s attendants could be heard laughing at various points in the conversation.
