Tamed the Monster Prince - Chapter 11.2
In acknowledgment of the brave deed that Cosimo Flores displayed when he defeated the dragon, the honorable title of Prince was bestowed upon him as a mark of respect for his bravery. He is renowned for his wisdom as a sage and his bravery as a celebrated kingdom hero.
Is it correct that the well-known wise man had the dragon’s blood on his fingertips?
That was nothing more than a story that could be found only in folklore.
He gave his daughter to the Prince to be married to him as his wife.
“…That was
It was not a surprise that the Count of Flores had come to an understanding with the other party. It is inconceivable that a noble family would entrust their elderly daughter to the services of a matchmaker with a questionable reputation. Because of this, they would not have to give up their daughter to enter such a marriage.
During this time, the attendant walked around and whispered to themselves as they went.
Perhaps due to the similarities in their family histories, Flores had prepared a dowry for the wedding. A feeling of unease crept over him.
“What did the Church say?”
It appears they will be sending a congratulatory letter shortly.
The recognition of this union by the Vatican would further solidify the Prince’s position. Matthias drummed his fingers on the desk.
“Mother must have been… displeased.”
“That is…”
The destruction of the Palace was an invisible occurrence. Considering his mother’s sorrow for the Prince, it seemed logical.
“The descendant of Cosimo…”
Matthias smiled as he contemplated the legendary and seemingly magical name and its relevance in the modern era.
“Is the progeny of Cosimo notably distinct?”
Matthias affirmed that there seemed to be a remarkable capacity possessed by the woman that enabled her to restrain the unruly individual. Was this an act of sorcery, akin to a miracle, that allowed her to tame the animalistic behavior?
“Had I been aware, I would have attended the wedding.”
He was disinclined to visit a woman on the brink of death; however, had she recovered, the outcome would have been distinct.
“Gather additional information regarding that individual.”
His attendant gave a respectful bow and stepped back. Matthias was intrigued by the woman.
He contemplated that he would be encountering her shortly while he softly hummed a melody.

The bedroom was quite bustling due to the activity of the maids who had previously attended to her.
“Delphina has accessed Your Majesty’s treasure.”
The brunette maid collapsed to the ground, crying. She bowed her head and implored.
“Your Highness, I did not make the oath!”
A single tear trickled down her face as she knelt on the ground, her sorrowful state evident.
“Delphina did it!”
“That kid!”
Everyone believed Delphina was responsible for the crime, and they pointed the finger of suspicion in her direction. Despite this, there was at least one person who was aware of the facts regarding the circumstance. What was said to be true about her having access to her wealth was true.
Irena couldn’t believe it when she finally opened her eyes, but it was already morning. She went back to bed. She experienced a peculiar dream that was so lifelike that she could remember the faces of the people she dreamt about as well as the buttons on their clothing.
“Alas, it was merely a figment of my imagination.”
“Hmm.”
Cesar remained in her embrace, his breathing shallow and tranquil. His visage exuded a serene peacefulness, like that of a prince.
Despite her efforts, Irena was unable to drift off to sleep. She could hear a disagreement occurring outside and a voice that appeared to belong to an individual.
“Let’s ensure we proceed appropriately.”
“I did not make any oaths.”
The bedroom was filled with sound.
“What?”
She was taken aback as she rose and detected an external voice.
“Your Majesty, are you coughing?”
Without warning, a group of people whom Irena recognized entered the room. They were the same individuals who had outfitted her for the wedding.
“Uuuu…”
Before anyone could enquire about their identity, a loud noise reverberated throughout the room. It was Cesar.
“Clank!”
Instantly, an uproar erupted amongst the housemaids as if someone was about to burst into the room. Some of the water they had brought in a jar was spilled. The senior servants were mortified. One of the maids with chestnut-colored hair advanced.
“My sincerest apologies. I was unaware that Your Highness was present.”
“Uuuu…”
Cesar’s reaction to the apology was far from appeased. He trembled with apparent rage, appearing as if he was about to erupt at any moment.
“Cesar, no!”
He heeded her plea and was able to regain composure swiftly, thus averting any potential issues.
“What’s going on here?”
