Tamed the Monster Prince - Chapter 4.1
Cesar’s face suddenly revealed a narrow slit-like opening.
“Ugh, uhhh…….”
As she fell backwards, she let out a groan of pain and uttered some unsettling words. She moved with a sluggish gait, and her hunger was more noticeable than it usually was.
It became difficult to determine whether the sounds emanating from him were those of a human or an animal as his cries became progressively more guttural. They occasionally sounded like the wind blowing through a cave, whistling.
She was troubled by a sense of impending doom. She had a hunch that something unexpected was about to take place. She felt a chill run down her spine.
She needed a place to hide, so she looked around the room for a spot that would be big enough to accommodate her tiny frame while still allowing her to remain hidden.
She was quick to react, propelling herself forward with her uncooperative feet.
When she reached the closet’s interior, she immediately curled up into the fetal position before closing the door.
She could feel the crispness of the fabric against her skin, and she could smell the aroma of the freshly cut grass near the area where she had sprayed the insect repellent. She clenched her fists around her knees, and laboured breathing was more difficult because her hands covered her mouth. It appeared her heart might burst through her chest at any second because it was beating at such a speed.
A sliver of Cesar’s silhouette could be seen through the crack in the door of the closet.
While she was hiding, he emerged from his hiding place. He was in the middle of the room, hunched over and heavily breathing out loud.
Almost immediately after that, she was confronted with a jarring and distracting noise. Her presence squelched my need to scream.
The room was filled with trash, and the remaining pieces of furniture were stacked in one corner. Cesar let out a low growl and uttered some wild sounds, giving the impression that he was ready to destroy anything in the area that could be touched.
“Ugh…….”
Before setting the candlestick down with a trace of impatience, Cesar furrowed his brow. He ran his hand across his forehead as if he were experiencing discomfort. Afterwards, he displayed a hint of impatience.
The candle was snuffed out when the silver candlestick crashed to the floor with a resounding crash, further reducing the light level in the already dim room.
After rolling along the floor for a while, the candlestick came to rest at his feet. He crouched down and took a whiff of the snuffed-out candle before turning away, acting as though he had no interest in the topic.
A brilliant silver glimmer illuminated the window, and the sky was shaken violently by a thunderous rumble. The heavy rain suddenly stopped falling, and a threatening thunderstorm followed.
“Ahhhh…….”
Cesar was startled and fell to the ground, covering his ears as the deafening sound of thudding wheels reverberated throughout the area. As a direct result of this, the glass windows violently vibrated.
“Ow!”
He was erratically shaking his arms and legs and clawing at the carpet as if trying to block out the noise when he finally passed out and fell to the ground.
After the lightning and the thunder had passed, there was an extended lull. In the silence, the sound of the rain became more prominent.
He moved towards the window in an erratic manner and not typical of a human being. He inched closer and closer. It was almost as if he were crawling on his hands and knees. An eerie sensation washed over him as he continued to move in this peculiar manner.
She was taken aback when she heard the sound of glass shattering, which was then followed by the sound of tearing fabric. She covered her mouth with both hands to stifle her scream of terror. The lantern was extinguished by a sudden gust of wind that blew through the broken window, which caused the room to become illuminated.
There was not the slightest glimmer of light in the pitch blackness.
She maintained a steady breathing pattern as the rain reverberated through the silence.
She felt a chilly sensation in that area between her legs.
“Are we correct in assuming you are only a short distance away?”
Her half-sister Giovineta gave her the dagger she used at her wedding as a present.
She decided the only alternative was to end her own life rather than risk having her body violated by a horror.
At first glance, the dagger, which is adorned with a variety of colourful gemstones, seems to be a piece of decorative jewellery; however, when the sheath is opened, a blade that has been sharpened is revealed. She could enter the royal “bedchamber” while carrying that weapon because no one paid attention to what she possessed.
‘I’m going to die anyway…….’
“Is it accurate to say that you were born out of wedlock and were subsequently left abandoned by the Flores family? “The fifth in a row. ”
Guests at the wedding used fans to shield the sun from their eyes while they spoke with one another.
She was aware of the proposition that Giovinetta had put before her: that she could either end her own life or allow herself to be consumed by the monster currently standing in front of her.
She slowly extended her hand, and as it did so, she could feel a chilly breeze against her fingertips. It had been successful. The only thing that could save her was this chill.
His heart, located in the space between his ribs, was as evident as a fish swimming in water. It was trembling and pounding, and I was afraid that it would shoot out of her throat if I made a mistake.
She experienced a wave of discomfort, followed by tense silence before she exhaled deeply.
The sight of Cesar’s figure vanishing through the openings caused her heart rate to decrease rapidly.
Where did he end up going?
