Tamed the Monster Prince - Chapter 6.2
Cornelia made a motion toward the attendant who was standing close by. She swiftly drained the glass that was sitting on the silver tray.
“That’s interesting.”
She sat back in her chair and assumed a calm demeanor as she did so. Her beauty was still bewitchingly attractive, although she was getting close to forty. It was comparable to the beauty of a young woman in her teenage years.
“Very interesting indeed.”
She adjusted her posture and then tapped the chair’s armrest with her freshly manicured nails. Her eyes, which were an icy blue, sparkled.
“Can you tell me where the Crown Prince is?”
“The Obsidian Playroom is where you can find him now.”
As Cornelia raised her eyes, a grin formed on her lips, and she looked at you. She looked down and saw a bedsheet that had been stained with blood. In the end, it was an unmistakable sign of marriage, and she had no choice but to acknowledge it.
“Take care of that right away.”
The command was gracefully communicated by Her Majesty the Queen through her crimson-painted fingernails. One of the attendants quickly retrieved the bundle and hurriedly tossed it into the fireplace.
“Because they are legally married, they must find a place to live.”
The Crown Queen would occasionally tap the armrest of her chair with her bright red fingernails, creating a rhythmic pattern.
When Countess Elvira raised her head, she saw Cornelia grinning sarcastically.
“What do you have planned for tonight?”
A mysterious look passed over the face of the Crown Queen just before she let out a deep sigh.
“Let’s offer them the Obsidian Place, shall we?”
Elvira, the Countess, let out a smirk and a chuckle that were barely audible to anyone else in the room.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” she replied.
The Countess showed her reverence by bending her head slightly. After that, the Crown Queen let out a light laugh before inquiring.
“Would you be so kind as to jog my memory about the name?”
“Irena.
” You are correct in saying that. When you consider the context, it is easy to see how confusing it can be.
Cornelya gave a sliver of a smile in response, followed by a few sighs and giggles emanating from the maids.
“I ponder how long this will continue and whether it will eventually replace me.”
The servants could not respond, so the Crown Queen waved her hand as if she was becoming tired to give the impression that she was becoming exhausted.
Cornelia then calls Elvira, the Countess, who was packing her belongings and preparing to leave.
“I will be joining them for a drink in a short while,” she said.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” she replied.

During the evening, she could escape the day’s events. She had been experiencing anxiety throughout the day due to interacting with many people and getting herself into various sticky situations, so she was utterly worn out.
She considered it a stroke of good fortune when she learned that the Empress had arranged for her to have a place to stay. She expressed her happiness at having received this news.
When she first saw Obsidian Place, where she would eventually live, she was at a loss for words.
“…”
Admiration filled her eyes as she fixed them upon Elvira, the lady-in-waiting who had escorted her to this Obsidian Place.
She looked at her with amusement and disdain as she examined her head to toe.
“Your Highness, do you comprehend the suddenness with which this event has taken place?”
She expressed her ideas in a way that suggested they were coming to her quickly.
The exterior of Obsidian Place was awe-inspiring, giving the impression that human hands had not touched it for a considerable amount of time. It was located in the most remote part of the palace.
She could not help but be surprised, even though she held the title of Princess of Flores. Because of the prince’s wealth, she had only ever visited estates meticulously cared for. Such was her only experience.
It was shocking to see that Obsidian Place had fallen into such a state of disrepair.
Even the garden gave the impression of being poorly maintained. It was more analogous to a desolate wasteland than to a flourishing garden. An odd pattern was created by the assortment of weeds and thorns that were intertwined together. Irena felt compelled to draw in a deep breath at that moment.
“Would you kindly come in?”
Because the gate to Obsidian Place had not been opened in some time, it made a loud creaking sound. Hence it was necessary to have the assistance of several attendants to open it.
“Please accept my sincere apologies, Your Highness. It would appear that we are not ready for this just yet.”
Countess Elvira appeared emotionless, and it was difficult to tell what she was feeling from her expression.
As soon as she walked in, she noticed the atmosphere was particularly depressing. The air was thick and heavy. Such as if it had been sitting there for a long time without being moved. The room was covered in thick dust, and there were cobwebs in all corners. Irena experienced a powerful compulsion to leave right away.
“Doesn’t the house seem like a good fit for you?”
Elvira Countess inquired from her warily while keeping a close eye on her respondent’s behavior. On the inside, she experienced a pleasant sense of fulfillment.
“No, don’t worry about it. Just… ”
The Countess of Elvira walked up to her with her head held high, and a superior expression permanently affixed her face. As she waited for a response, her term became more relaxed.
“Just…
